No on beats Jodi I've tried so many and none can compete. Not even Monti's comes close. So if you want an authentic cheesesteak this is the place to go in Chicagoland.
Had a 6-inch Italian Hoagie and a Steak & Cheese eggroll. Both were delish! The bread they use is amazing!
The food was good. However, I ordered the smash burger and the menu said it comes with fries and a drink. But I didn't get fries and a drink. If it's only a burger they should remove the fries and drink with the burger from the menu. It was misleading. Other than that, the food was really good.
One of the enticing aspects is the price. While not dirt cheap I still feel like it's on the lower end of the spectrum. For a small sweet steak & two Italian ice I paid $20. Everything was good. I think Taurus flavors & hoagie place have a slight edge but this is still good. I thought twas more akin to ground beef than steak but I honestly didn't care. There's also a reward system so be sure to sign up for that.
Best Philly cheesesteak I've ever had including those in Philadelphia from the two famous places. Worth the stop and I hope to be back again next time I'm in town
Hands down still the BEST Italian ice I've ever eaten. That coconut flavor is amazing and the creamiest with a perfect tropical taste. Of course, the sweet steaks are flavorful shaved ribeyes loaded with peppers, provolone and a secret sweet sauce. A young lady encouraged my husband and I to try the salmon egg rolls on our next visit so we did. My, my, my so good. They also have the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. Both come with a house made dipping sauce. The space is a little tight, especially on a hot day. No worries, the staff is friendly and will have you out in no time.
Small but easy access parking. Not much of an exterior look but clean. So decided on the Hoagie (sub sandwich). Mine a capicola , turkey, pastrami delight. To my liking, ordered it loaded and that's what I got. This place is a gem. My sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and very filling. I also ordered the watermelon Italian ice. Breezed through a small cup while waiting for my sandwich. Very efficienct and pleasant service. So, nothing fancy, but this place is now on my radar for one of the best I have yet to have.
